Rentier / retired residence permit
Renewable residence permit to live in Curaçao on interest, assets, or retirement income (purposes rentier and retired). Bank proof of sufficient means is required; no fixed statutory principal-applicant income floor is published on the TO page. Retirees may also invoke the separate penshonado tax arrangement via the Ministry of Finance. Time on the permit counts toward the ordinary naturalisation clock for Dutch nationality.
Wealthy investor residence (2014 policy)
Multi-year residence for a bona fide business investment on Curaçao under the Wealthy investor 2014 admission policy: from XCG 500,000 for a three-year permit, XCG 750,000 for five years, or XCG 1,500,000 for an indefinite permit. Intended for stays of more than six months per year. Not citizenship-by-investment — Dutch nationality still requires ordinary naturalisation after legal residence.
